Junior Lone Star FC forward Moses Jackson has been selected as the National Premier Soccer League Player of the Week for the week ending June 3.

Jackson scored two goals and assisted on a third to help Lone Star to their first win of the season, 4-1 over Buxmont Torch on Sunday. Jackson staked Junior Lone Star FC to a quick 2-0 lead with goals in the eighth and tenth minutes, the dribbled his way through two defenders before sending a pass across goal to set up an easy tap-in for Fornatee Brapoh to make the score 3-0.

HONOR ROLL: SD Flash forward Justin Picou registered a first-half hat trick in Saturday’s 9-1 win over the San Francisco Stompers, giving him five goals over his last two games…After turning in a solid performance at right back for 80 minutes, AFC Cleveland’s Christian Earnest moved up front and scored the equalizing goal in a 1-1 draw with the Erie Admirals on Sunday.
