San Diego Boca's Juan Perez Bernal has been named the National Premier Soccer League Player of the Week for the week ending April 8.
Perez Bernal was selected for his two-goal performance in Boca's 2-2 come-from-behind tie with the Santa Clarita Storm on Saturday.
With San Diego trailing 2-0, Bernal was fouled in the area in the 65th minute and scored on the ensuing penalty kick.
Perez Bernal got his second goal of the game on a restart from the 18 and placed it above Storm keeper Steven Rodriguez just as time was running out.
